All three agree fuse 6 in the passenger panel goes live at 2A for the brake pressure switch starting your 2002 model year. The same three sources call that position not used on the 2001 truck.
Two other sources still carry the older answer. Fuseboxinfo.com’s own 2002-specific page marks fuse 6 not used, the same answer several sites give for 2001. StartMyCar’s 2002 owner’s-manual-sourced table leaves fuse 6 off its list entirely, consistent with treating it as unused.

Where is the cigar lighter fuse on a 2002 Ford Ranger?
Fuse 17 in the passenger compartment panel, rated 20A. It shares the position with the data link connector. So a fault code reader that won’t power up points at the same fuse.
A second, separate 12V outlet runs through fuse 22 at 20A. That is a common mix-up on trucks with both an ashtray lighter and a separate accessory socket.
Is the 2002 fuse layout the same as 2001 or 2003?
