What Is the Ford Family Discount?
“Ford family discount” is the everyday name for Ford’s New Vehicle Purchase Programs, usually called the AXZD plans. Ford’s support page says employees, retirees and their family members may be eligible for the A-, X- or Z-Plan, and dealership employees for the D-Plan.

Cousins, friends and neighbors can’t use the A, Z or D-Plan. A Ford employee or retiree can sponsor them on the Friends & Neighbors X-Plan. The SJVS rules for Ford joint-venture employees allow up to four Friends & Neighbors PINs per calendar year, and sponsors must know the people they sponsor. - Get a PIN. Ford employees and retirees request PINs through Ford’s Vehicle Purchase Programs website or by calling 1-800-348-7709 (per Ford’s support page). PINs are valid for 12 months from the date they’re issued. Dealers don’t have to take part in the program, so call ahead.
Which Vehicles Qualify?
Current and prior model year new Ford and Lincoln vehicles sold in the U.S. qualify, including dealer demonstrators. Used vehicles, driver training vehicles, certain commercial or specialty products and some “low-supply” models are excluded.
